Registered massage therapy
Our massage therapy sessions combine therapeutic technique with intuitive care, focusing on relieving muscular tension, improving circulation, and supporting overall body alignment. Using moderate, sustained pressure, treatments are tailored to bypass the body’s guarding reflex and help engage a parasympathetic “weighted blanket” effect. Sessions commonly include focused work on the back, neck, shoulders, and hips, and can be expanded to include arms or legs as needed.
At Deep Roots, each massage therapist brings their own experience, training, and unique approach to the table—offering a personalized touch while maintaining a consistent commitment to trauma-informed, client-centered care. Whether you're seeking relief from pain or a full nervous system reset, massage is one of our most grounding tools for healing.

Acupuncture
Grounded in the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine, acupuncture works by restoring balance to the body’s internal systems. Fine needles are placed at key points to regulate energy (Qi), reduce pain, support organ function, and harmonize emotional health. Treatments are customized for your specific constitution and may address conditions such as insomnia, digestive discomfort, anxiety, headaches, or chronic fatigue. Acupuncture also complements other therapies and is a key foundation of our trauma-informed care approach.

Trauma informed Treatments
Our multi-stage trauma protocol is based on the teachings of CT Holman and Acupuncturists Without Borders. This gentle and respectful approach supports nervous system regulation, emotional resilience, and spiritual restoration. Treatments are paced over time and guided by three stages: Gathering the Qi (stabilization), Soothing the Trauma Memory (processing), and Integration (restoration). Clients move at their own rhythm, with full autonomy and consent, making this ideal for those actively in therapy or those not yet ready for talk-based care.

MPS Therapy (Microcurrent Point Stimulation)
MPS Therapy is a non-invasive treatment that uses gentle, low-frequency electrical stimulation to release tight muscles, reduce scar tissue adhesions, and calm the nervous system. By applying the device to acupuncture and trigger points, this therapy helps regulate pain cycles, improve postural imbalances, and promote tissue healing.

Bioenergetic Intolerance Elimination (BIE)
BIE is a non-invasive modality that uses a device to direct energy into the body through meridian pathways. This energy aims to help the body recognize and adapt to specific environmental stressors or substances that may be interfering with homeostasis. BIE does not diagnose conditions or treat diseases, but rather supports the body’s natural ability to balance itself.
Clients have used BIE to support issues such as sensitivities, digestion, sleep disturbances, and stress-related symptoms. At Deep Roots, this technique is offered with care and integrity—working in tandem with other wellness strategies to support your journey toward better vitality. BIE sessions are guided by client priorities, and recommendations are never intended to replace medical advice or treatment.
