Massage Therapy at Deep Roots

Clinical care. Restorative presence. Regulated support.

Massage therapy is the assessment and treatment of the soft tissues and joints of the body, including muscles, connective tissue, tendons, ligaments, and fascia. At Deep Roots, Registered Massage Therapy (RMT) offers evidence-based care for discomfort associated with postural stress, repetitive strain, injuries, chronic tension and other associated conditions.

Massage therapy can support recovery from both acute and chronic conditions. RMTs work with a wide range of individuals—including those seeking relief from pain, support through rehabilitation, or a therapeutic space to manage the effects of physical stress.

What to Expect at Your First Appointment

At your first visit, you’ll complete a confidential health history as part of your assessment. Your RMT will evaluate your individual needs and contributing factors to develop a treatment plan specific to you.

You’ll always be fully informed and in control. Treatment begins only with your consent, and your plan can be adjusted or reassessed at any time.

This includes:
— Clear communication about goals and techniques
— An explanation of possible responses to treatment
— Respectful collaboration on any modifications needed for comfort or safety

Insurance & Extended Benefits

Massage therapy provided by a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) is covered under most extended health benefits plans. You may be eligible for full or partial reimbursement based on your provider’s coverage. Receipts are provided for all sessions. Deep Roots also offers Direct Insurance Billing on your behalf, check to see if your Insurance is set up for direct billing.
