Shannon is a holistic health practitioner whose work bridges the worlds of science and soul. Her current practice focuses on Iridology and Bio Energetic Intolerance Elimination (BIE), two modalities that allow her to look deeper into root causes of imbalance while also supporting relief from symptoms such as digestive distress, seasonal sensitivities, pain, arthritis, and anxiety.
Iridology is the study of the iris of the eye as a reflection of overall health and constitution. While it does not diagnose conditions, it can reveal patterns of strength, areas that may need extra support, and tendencies that influence long-term wellness. Shannon uses this tool to help clients better understand their bodies and guide individualized approaches for balance and vitality.
BIE is a gentle, non-invasive technique that helps the body re-calibrate its response to stressors. By introducing the energetic signature of a substance or trigger through specific acupressure points, BIE supports the body in recognizing it more calmly and harmoniously. This may include stressors such as airborne sensitivities (dust, pollens, animal dander including cats and dogs), food-related reactions, digestive irritants, and more. Many clients notice improvements in digestion, sensitivities, mood, energy, and overall resilience as balance is restored.
Her training as a Registered Acupuncturist (R.Ac) provides the backbone for her BIE work. Acupuncture not only supports clients directly with concerns like arthritis, digestive issues, anxiety, and pain management, but also strengthens her BIE practice by offering a TCM-based framework. Because of this, BIE treatments may be covered under acupuncture benefits on extended health insurance.
Shannon is also an RMT (Massage Therapist) by training and has been practicing since 2014. While massage therapy provided the foundation of her work in healing touch, she is no longer accepting new massage clients, instead focusing on whole-body wellness through her growing suite of holistic modalities.
Currently, Shannon is expanding her expertise as a Certified Nutritional Practitioner (CNP)-in-training with the Institute of Holistic Nutrition. She looks forward to weaving nutrition into her practice starting in 2026, offering an even more integrative approach to healing.
